Elisabeth Southworth BSN RN

Elisabeth Southworth founded American Research Partners, LLC and serves as presdient and CEO. She is an experienced Registered Nurse with dual licenses in the states of Michigan and Indiana. She has over thirty years of  experience in nursing, home health care, pediatrics, geriatics and oncology. She has taught college courses in musculoskeletal, neurovascular, renal, hepatic, cardiovascular, and endocrine disorders. She has also taught courses in pharmacology, medical mathematicis and geriatrics. She is adept at writing protocols for performance standards in nursing.

Her background in clinical research includes site selection, patient quailfication for enrollement, extensive chart review,  clinical study medication administration, and accurate documentation in case report forms.

She earned her Bachelors Degree from the Andrews University School of Nursing in Berrien Springs, Michigan. 


Carleton Southworth AB  MS RAC

Carleton Soutworth's professional experience spans all aspects of medical device and combination drug/device clinical research. His skills include statistical analysis, protocol design, data capture, site initiation and monitoring. His educational background includes extensive training in field based research on human subjects, including knowledge of questionnaire design and validation. His background in statistics includes multivariate analyses and he is adept at database manipulation using SAS. He has designed, conducted, monitored, and reported on clinical trials in orthopaedics and neurosurgery.He has PMA experience and experience interfacing with the FDA. He has also assisted with European submissions, including submissions to notified bodies.

In addition to this, he is certified in regulatory affairs (RAC) and was formerly certified as a quality engineer (CQE). He knows a great deal about process validation in manufacturing. Carleton Southworth was formerly manager of biostatistics at DePuy, a Johnson & Johnson company. CV and Pubs

Carleton Southworth graduated  with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Cum Laude, from Vassar College with a Distinction for Exceptional Research Award. He graduated with a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. He has completed all the course work for a Ph.D in industrial and organizational psychology.
